Volcanic Earth’s mission to enhance the skin health and well-being of people around the world extends well beyond our products. Vanuatu is classified as an LDC (Least Developing Country) and many indigenous Ni Vanuatu in need, particularly families in the remote, outer islands and young people, are getting relief, thanks to your generosity of Volcanic Earth and its distributors.

Through the sale of Volcanic Earth’s natural skin care products, livelihood opportunities connected to the operation of our Coconut Oil, along with training and direct employment services offered at the Volcanic Earth Healing Centre Spa, we are helping fight poverty and relieve suffering in what is otherwise largely a "Custom Economy" (barter system). In the last ten years, Volcanic Earth, its distributors and most importantly, its customers have made a positive contribution to the alleviation of poverty in Vanuatu for those in need.

To assist in this endeavor, the Australian Government AusAid Department, via its innovative, Enterprise Challenge Fund, made available to Volcanic Earth the sum of One Hundred and Ninety thousand Australian Dollars ($190,000AU) over a period of three (3) years from 2008 to 2011, to help more than 500 Ni Vanuatu disadvantaged through remoteness and the lack of employment and livelihood opportunities. In fact, the grant resulted in more than 1,500 such Ni Vanuatu benefiting from the Project and these benefits continue through to the present day.
